In the last few weeks as students study for exams, and as I prepare for AnCon, I have been spending a lot of time in the Law Building. Some very nice friends invited me to come study with them there one day and I have fallen in love with this place. It is so beautiful and reflects a lot of the glorious creation God has made. As I type this up I am sitting in a ‘quiet study area’ overlooking Victoria Park, and Eastern Avenue. As the sunsets, God’s glory is revealed even more as pinks and purples rise off the horizon of the city, and yellows and oranges eclipse the Anderson Stuart Building.

We are so blessed to live in this city. We are free to proclaim Christ Jesus as Lord and free to simply walk the streets at night. What mercy and grace has been poured down upon us.

As it fades to the black of night, my heart rejoices in the fact that there will dawn a new day, one where there will be no more pain or suffering, no more tears, no more death but only infinite life.

I pray for those who are still shrouded in darkness. Those who can not see the light. Those who are in pain, and suffering. Those who are not content. And for those who are under persecution. I pray to my Lord and my God, the Creator of this World, that he might bring these people into peace, into safety, but most of all into eternal life. That he might surround them in the light of his love, grace, mercy, and peace. Please Lord Jesus come.
